Dra. Rita Dias Lopes
Dr. Rita Dias Lopes is a Portuguese orthodontist whose practice has been dedicated exclusively to orthodontics since 2014. Registered as Orthodontic Specialist nº100 with the Portuguese Dental Association, she has built a clinical career distinguished by advanced expertise in clear aligner therapy, a field in which she has worked since 2017 and where she has become both an educator and a recognised reference.
She holds a solid academic background in Dentistry from Universidade Fernando Pessoa, complemented by postgraduate training in orthodontics, oral surgery and aesthetics. Over the years, she has further enhanced her qualifications through multiple master programmes and international certifications, including Invisalign training, Master Aligner, Manuel Roman Academy, and various advanced courses in biomechanics and mini-implants.
Throughout her career, she has practised as an orthodontist in several leading clinics across Porto, Matosinhos, Espinho, Felgueiras and Grijó, and she currently maintains active clinical practice in multiple locations. In parallel, she has expanded her work into education, founding the Aligners Mentorship – Align Mastermind and serving as a mentor at Smart Aligner Services, in addition to lecturing in orthodontic courses and events.
With a strong commitment to continuous education, national and international congress participation, and multidisciplinary clinical experience, Dr. Rita Dias Lopes now focuses on integrating clinical practice with teaching, helping other professionals elevate the quality of their aligner treatments and modern orthodontic care.
