Dr. Dietmar Zuran
Dr. Dietmar Zuran earned his dental degree from the Free University in Berlin, Germany. He furthered his education by completing post-graduate programs in orthodontics at the Royal Dental College in Aarhus, Denmark, under the guidance of Prof. Melsen, and at Charité-Berlin with Prof. Miethke.
During his academic journey, Dr. Zuran collaborated with Prof. Burstone on the multimedia project titled “Dynamics of Orthodontics,” with the focus on biomechanics. In the year 2000, Dr. Zuran established his private orthodontic practice in Austria. Building on his expertise, he expanded his scope to include aligner orthodontics, running a specialized satellite practice since 2008.
As an early adopter of innovative orthodontic techniques, Dr. Zuran has served as a “Clinical Speaker” for the Invisalign System for many years. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role as a pilot doctor for various other systems such as SureSmile, ClearCorrect, and AngelAlign. Dr. Zuran’s commitment to embracing cutting-edge technology is evident in his practice. He has been utilizing CBCTs (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) since 2008, intraoral scanners since 2011, 3D printing since 2016 and remote monitoring since 2018. These advancements have formed the cornerstone of his fully digitalized orthodontic practice.
