Dr. Bärbel Reistenhofer
Dr. Baerbl Reistenhofer completed her studies in Medicine at the Universities of Graz and Vienna, as well as her studies in Dentistry at the University of Vienna. She wrote her doctoral thesis at the University Clinic for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine in Vienna, in the Department of Prosthodontics under the supervision of Prof. Slawicek.
This was followed by seven years of clinical work in the Department of Orthodontics at the University Dental Clinic of Vienna under the direction of Prof. Bantleon. As a founding member of the Austrian Lingual Orthodontic Society (ALOS), she completed a one-year course in lingual orthodontics with Dr. Fillion in Paris and further specialized through numerous advanced training programs, including with Takimoto in Japan.
She is a board member of the European Lingual Society. For more than 20 years, she has been an expert in aligner therapy and is considered one of the leading specialists in this field. She has extensive clinical experience and has received multiple industry awards in recognition of her outstanding work in aligner treatment. In addition, DDr. Baerbl Reistenhofer is highly committed to the education and training of students.
